A. Surgery for protruding ears (otoplasty)
A child's ear reaches its adult size around the age of 8, which makes surgical correction possible from that age. Otoplasty is indicated for protruding or prominent ears, which can be a source of self-consciousness, particularly for children at school, but also in adulthood.

B. Earlobe surgery
Earlobe surgery is indicated for split lobes (often caused by wearing heavy earrings) or for lobes that have become stretched, elongated, or thinned with age.
